Espacio para fotos

Hemos habilitado una web para poder subir las fotos de una forma mas cómoda. La web esta hecha por José Eduardo (compañero erasmus) asi que el mérito es suyo, aun así intentaremos subir las mejores fotos a este blog, por cierto con Firefox no va muy bien la web. La dirección la he puesto en la sección de links erasmus :)

NOTA: A todos los que accedais a vuestras cuentas por internet debereis llamar para que os activen la posibilidad de ver las cuentas desde otro país, ya que es muy probable que vuestro banco os tenga bloqueadas las IP´s no españolas.

Mentor y Billetes

Ya se me ha asignado a un mentor, se llama Krzysztof aunque hemos decidido de mutuo acuerdo que le llame Kris :) este mentor tiene una peculiaridad y es que sabe español muy bien! creo que eso me ayudará en Polonia, aunque me apetecia practicar mi inglés :( por lo visto el estuvo de erasmus en España el año pasado. A mis compañeros Ricardo y José Eduardo les han asignado mentoras :)

Por cierto ya tengo los billetes de avión (que este si lo habia comprado ya) y el de tren que lo compré el Domingo :)



Una última cosa que se ma ha olvidado mencionarla, antes de ir a Polonia debeis ir a vuestro banco para que os habiliten poder sacar dinero en cajeros de fuera de España. Yo he tenido que ir a Rabanales hoy con mis 2 compañeros de erasmus para activar dicha opción, y aumentar los límites de las tarjetas. Usaremos la tarjeta de crédito del Santander de la Universidad de Córdoba.

Nuevo email

Un nuevo email ha llegado en el nos indican que vamos a tener mentores, estos serán nada más y nada menos que estudiantes polacos :) Ahí va el email!

Noticias desde Polonia

Nos acaban de mandar desde Bialystok el siguiente email con información de como llegar a la residencia:

Dear Erasmus Students,

We start the winter semester on the 1^st of October. It would be good if you came a few days before to get know the University and the city. Don’t forget to inform us about the date of your arriving. Please look at the attachments. If you sent us accomodadtion form with the date of your arrival, your address is: Akademik Beta, Zwierzyniecka Street, 12, Bialystok.

Poland has a temperate climate, similar to the rest of the continental zone, so we have the four seasons. January is usually the coldest month (-20ºC/+5ºC), July -the hottest (+22ºC/+30ºC). Don’t expect extreme temperatures, but be sure to bring a full array of clothing for all seasons. This climate allows us to practice any kind of activities during the different seasons of the year, from skiing to go to swim to the Baltic sea during summer.

Probably you will arrive to Poland by plane and the best place for landing is Warsaw (Okecie, im. Fryderyk Chopin Airport). To go from the airport to the main train station in Warsaw (Warszawa Centralna), you can take a taxi 9191 (with price about 35zl) or go by bus number 175.

To go to Bialystok from Warsaw you either take bus or train, but we rather recommend you to take the train, because timetables are more flexible and trains depart quite often to Bialystok but the last one is at 20:24. (5:55, 7:20, 9:10, 11:20, 13:24, 15:34, 17:20, 18:20, 20:24) The journey to Bialystok takes more or less 2 and a half hours.

All Erasmus students accepted to study at the Bialystok Technical University are able to find accommodation in the Student House (located very near to the Faculty building, except Management and Architecture). The rent for shared accommodation is about 400 PLN (100 Euro) per month. The rent includes essential furniture, electricity, hot and cold water, heating, use of a laundry room and linen, pillows and basic kitchen utensils (plates and cutlery), but for sure you must bring your towels. You have to share the bathroom with three more rooms, so there can be about 6 people using the same bathroom. The residence has 10 floors and on each you can find one kitchen. After arrival to Bialystok you should also pay a deposit (the same like the rent). The deposit will be returned to your account when you move out and return the key, provided you have paid all rent dues and kept your flat clean and in good condition.

In Poland we pay with zloty (PLN).

20 Días

Sólo quedan 20 días para salir de España, dentro de 20 días a esta hora estare volando hacia Polonia :) Aún no hemos comprado los billetes de tren para Málaga, así que espero que esta semana se quede ese tema finiquitado.

Mañana o pasado intentaré poner los emails y las webs importantes para todo futuro erasmus Polaco.

Zlotys

¡He conseguido! ¡Zlotys! (pronunciado "eslotis") Son de un ex-erasmus que estuvo este año en Bialystok y como quería deshacerse de ellos yo se los he comprado.
Compré 230 zlotys, pero 110 se los he dado a José Eduardo que también viene conmigo a Polonia. Así que yo me he quedado con 120 Zlotys, suficiente para coger el taxi y el tren en Varsovia :)
